josh "nothing can kill my mood"
One quick post whilst I wait for my dinner to arrive.

The exam I did today went OK. I wore the red shoes, Mullvaney - thanks for the tip ;) History's over for the year now, thank goodness. That means no more wars of the roses and no more voyages of discovery!!

I am a Master in the Order of 87 - I even found the Holy Grail (although I didn't realise it at the time)

I'd also like to say thanks to my f-list who have been so nice to me about exams :D and in general :D

My penname explained: it's the type of chair I have. That's it. I went to Ikea one day, bought a chair. I sat on it for the first time that night at my computer and made my livejournal account. I was at a complete loss for a name, so I looked around and my eye caught the user manual for the chair. (what is so hard? you sit on it, is there anything else you need to say about a chair?) And so, Skruvsta was born.

Exciting.

Ok, I tag anyone who hasn't been tagged yet, because I can't remember who has :S

Must dash, have mad panicky French revision session to attend.

[Edited to add: does anyone have a Hufflepuff icon I could steal use? Cheers :D]

Oh dear, I've got exams for the next two days. Italian and French. *panics a bit* I'm on a break from learning my presentation for my French speaking exam. It's on Versailles ad its role in the French Revolution. Why did I choose a topic I know so little about? *sigh* ah well. At least in two days French will be over.

Watford went up to the premiership!!! I'm so happy it's likely I'll get up and do a little dance. I got lots of great pictures, four of my friends went and had a great time ... and my favourite player scored the first goal!!! The day was so much fun, and my throat still hasn't recovered from all the shouting I did. :D

I realised last night that I'm in the middle of reading four books. I'm often like this- each book is different, and I read whichever one I'm in the mood for. For example, I'm reading The Three Musketeers for some light comedy; Vanity Fair for some more serious reading; Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone to make sure I make Where You Ought To Be canon-ish; and Cloud Atlas for ... err, I'm not sure- it's fascinating and mysterious. It's quite interesting to see the faces on some of my non-booklover friends. Reading books is just something I do, and I can do it quickly. (I get it from my mother and practice)

*sigh* back to French it is. On my next break I'll be writing Chapter 3 :)

I love study leave!

Today I went shopping, going on a bargain hunt and buying two dresses and a pair of shoes. Then I went to a barbeque (even though it was raining and we had loads of thunder and lightning) and had an excellent time with my friends. Yesterday I walked up to the park and revised history in the park whilst sunbathing! And I've been lazing around in my hammock working on my tan/revising hard too!

I made a chocolate cake the other day that some people said was the *best* chocolate cake they'd ever had. *dances* I'm so happy, after my failures at cooking. Mullvaney, you can bet that I'm going to try your cookie recipe- I don't think I could get my hands on any hershey kisses even if I wanted to- are there any equivalents that you know of?

Unfortunately, I've missed a lot of television recently, so I may need to slob down to it and catch up soon. Ah well.

I didn't realise just how long it's been since I posted here. Apologies.

So, I'm on study leave from school now. Started today, so I had a bit of a lie in. Now it's down to work, with lots of lovely breaks and loud music :D The sun is shining, too, so I may even study outside from time to time. My first exam is in two weeks, so I've got lots to do.

I read in Mullvaney's post that she's been really enjoying the Queens' ficys, and that's the same for me. Asking for Roses, No Devil or Redeemer, the Fenrir fic, the train rides ... they're all brilliant!! I feel better that I've actually contributed something now :D

I went to the school quiz night recently, and was the only girl on the only student team there. We didn't come last! And I gave some good answers! I rock! Haha, and the team that did come last had a teacher on! *cackles*

My drama exam went fantastically, and my Italian exam went well- I'm really in the mood for studying and doing well. I'm also getting a bit frightened of Uni- it looks close now.

Enough RL, I'll get on and write more Justin now :D

Oh, and this was taken from Seaspray:  Johari Window

[/end incredible panicked-revision weekend]
Phew. Italian speaking exam = over!!! And it went well, which was both surprising and relieving. No more exams until the end of the month, study leave next Wednesday. Everything is A-OK. I can get back into things. *breathes deeply*

I have Justin news, f-list! The fic now has a plot! A sketchy, hole-ridden one, but there's the basics. There's character and relationship developments planned out and it all fits into the HP timelines :D *does happy-dance*

The 'Chapter One' I posted before has been effectively ripped apart and is now two chapters, although neither is quite finished. Does anyone have a tip relating to chapter size? I'd like to pick an average length, but I have absolutely no idea what that would be.

Just did this quiz, found out that I am 37% obsessed with Harry Potter:
Full time Potter fan.

[I met JK once, she signed my book and told me she liked my jumper!]
